3. TaxACT and Tax Slayer

These are two different companies but they both offer alternatives to the popular and hyped options listed above. TaxACT has three versions ranging from free to $20. Meanwhile Tax Slayer has the same prices, but allows people serving actively in the military to file for free. Both of these services are just as good as the big names at filing your tax returns. They differ only in the amount of support provided and the weight of the company behind them. That’s not to say they’re small companies, but they aren’t as large as the above.
